







iRiver Pure
About:
A small speed modelling challenge I set for myself. I allocated myself 6 hours (measured using a stop-watch) for the iRiver itself, but then decided I would try and get some headphones done within the time limit too. Ended up going over the time limit by 11 seconds, but considering I almost managed to squeeze some headphones inside the time limit too, I think it went pretty well.
The seemingly extra edge loops were created for smoothing purposes because the front panel of the iRiver bulges out slightly. There are still a few places I didn't optimise in time though. Such as the rear button (that pops out the battery) and the play/stop buttons that are on the side (overlapped faces).
